School Meals

Meals are freshly prepared daily in our new school kitchen.  There are different meals each day, a set menu for each week and regular special menus for events like Chinese New Year or St Pirans Day.  Lunches are ordered daily via the lunch time register.  Money for lunches (£2.65 per day) should be brought to school each Monday in an envelope with the child’s name and the days for which the meal is required and handed in to the class collection point.  Our school meals contractor invoices the school if any money is owing so please keep up to date with payments.

All children in years R, 1 and 2 are eligible for free school meals daily and free fruit at morning break-time. Some children may be eligible for free school meals in Key Stage 2 also.  If you think you may be eligible we encourage you to contact the school office to apply even if you do not intend for your child to eat school meals.  This is because the school receives pupil premium funding for each child eligible for free school meals and is able to provide extra support in a number of ways for your child.

Packed lunches may be brought to school along with healthy snacks to be eaten at break time. Sweets, chocolate and chewing gum may not be brought to school.
