The School Parliament and School Council have been very busy with meetings, assemblies and soon another meeting will take place with the School Governors.  We look at the cons and find ways to turn them into pros.

The five jobs of the School Parliament are: Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Speaker, Budget Reporter and Health and Safety Reporter.

School Parliament are going to show the School Governors our outdoor learning survey that we created and asked the children.

Our assembly theme for the New Year is HOPE. We have been talking about the resolutions we are hoping to keep and how hope can help is reach our goals.

We had a great Tom Bawcocks procession this year. Thank you to everyone who supported the event and especially those who helped create the lanterns and in particular Mary Woodvine. The procession had more people than ever this year and getting everyone singing and moving in time was an amazing achievement!

We were very lucky to have such talented people working with our children to create the shadow puppet retelling of the Tom Bawcock story. Big thank yous go to Mary, Anna, Alice, Thalia, Fran and Lizzie. It really was a special evening and very Mousehole!

What a super Christmas Carol Concert we had this year. I was so proud to see the enthusiasm and energy with which our children performed. I huge thank you must go to Miss Judge and all the staff for their hard work in preparing for the event. I huge thank you also to the parents who supported the event and of course a final huge thank you to the children for performing so brilliantly.

It is that time of the year again. We have all been enjoying Feast celebrations. Today we visited the church. We practised some songs for the concert on Wednesday and then Reverend Tim showed us around and told us some of the history of the Feast celebrations. In the afternoon we enjoyed some Feast Games and saffron buns.
